Lillooet Learns is a not-for-profit that envisions a good life for all in St’át’imc territory. We connect people and strengthen community as a convener and backbone organization, and we host the Community Connect Innovation HUB. We are growing, and we are building a management team.
We are looking for an Operations Director to lead the internal operations of the organization alongside the Executive Director.
This is a new position focused on expanding the capacity of the organization.
We are looking for someone with management, project and executive-level experience who knows St’át’imc territory and communities. Preference will be given to St’át’imc candidates, and second preference to other Indigenous candidates. Our mandate is 50% parity on the board of directors, and we are extending that commitment to our operations team.
This is an employment contract for one year with renewal and a 3-month probation period. It starts at 20-25 hours a week and moves toward 30 hours a week after the probation and training period. Salary is $35,000 to $55,000 depending on experience and hours, with a comprehensive benefits package. The schedule is flexible, and the position is based at 633 Main Street.
