The Knowledge with Health Elders gathering on March 28^th and 29^th 2026 was a great success, and included 150 participants from all over St’at’imc territory. Better at Home staff fundraised money to provide 400 meals. Three performances of live music were performed and the Better Living Centre provided a presentation on nutrition. Laura Grizzleypaws offered a chair yoga and exercise session. First Nations Health Authority provided wellness stations, including hair cuts, foot care, paraffin wax, and massage. Better at Home staff brought resources and program information to share. Our Community Connector facilitated an open mic, where Elders shared their stories. A closing circle ended the second day and highlighted how meaningful it was for the Elders to gather together. Thanks to all of the donors, including Xwisten, T’it’q’et, Ts’kwaylaxw, SLRD Area A and B, Lillooet Indigenous Court, and St’at’imc Outreach Health Services.
